Have a good time the vacations with Santa’s Workshop Craft House

0

The holidays and winter are my absolute favorite time of the year. We love spending time as a family and creating all kinds of handicrafts. I was thrilled when The Home Depot invited me to create a Santa’s Workshop themed area for the Holiday Style Challenge. We’ve been spending a lot of time at home lately and this gave me the opportunity to transform a space and create a fun environment to create memories for the season.

Order and shop

The Home Depot has everything you need to decorate your home for the holiday season and this year I made the decision to shop online. Your mobile app is amazingly easy to use. I used the shopping list feature to help plan my project which added items to my shopping cart when it was time to order such a breeze. The mobile pick-up option was the perfect solution for my busy schedule. It was also great that the decor got my home delivered in no time.

My style is usually neutral and I love a minimalist theme, but the Santa’s workshop theme definitely got me thinking in color.

Decorate the room

I started by decorating the room just outside the main room window. This LED Yultide Lane tinsel snowman is the cutest and offers a warm welcome with just the right pop of color. It is the perfect addition to your garden decor for the season.

Santa’s workshop is never complete without an accompanying guide. I created this quick home improvement using wood, spray paint, and tools from my local Home Depot store. It was fun and easy to do and was done in no time.

I decorated the window with this beautiful wreath from the Royal Easton Collection. The wreath is decorated with festive ornaments and ribbons. It’s also pre-lit with a timer which is great for your indoor or covered outdoor areas.

The workshop

The workshop room is behind the window. This starry flock tree is in this room. At 6.5 feet tall, this tree comes with a lovely base and is the ideal addition to your home for the holidays.

I added these LED fir wreaths complement the tree. These are also pre-lit with a timer.

The moment I saw these antique milk bottlesI knew I had to have her for the workshop. The happy messages, acorns and holly berries are wonderful for the theme.

I kept the table simple by adding this mini flock tree as a supplement to Santa’s work tools.

In the corner of the room is a basket with a plaid, woven throw. This soft throw is perfect for the holidays.

Gifts are also a particularly important aspect in every workshop. I decorated by wrapping old boxes in construction paper and tape that I had on hand.

I also made this train using wooden boxesPoplar rounds, Rope and eye hooks. This DIY was super easy too and can be used for indoors or outdoors too.
